our PARTNERS:

about our programs:

After school:

Our after school program provides healthy and safe activities to 90 children ages 5 through 14 in the area of West-Kendall and 75 in the area of Homestead, with academic assistance from certified reading teachers and loving support staff.

Program activities include reading/literacy instruction, physical fitness, social skills and homework assistance.

Because the majority of our program's parents are not native English speakers, they are often unable to assist their children with school homework.

“PEACE CDC, Inc., complies with all standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Children with special needs are not excluded from participation in any activities or programs unless, after an individualized assessment is completed, a reasonable accommodation cannot be made without fundamentally altering the program.”
